A video by Sara Tavares and another by Lura played in the cinema. Later, Bïa came by to croon two sultry, jazzy late night songs in French and Portuguese. Then the Nigerian Asa was featured for a little anglophone and Yoruba flavor, with three biting, soulful, and insightful tracks reminiscent of Bob Marley. Angolan reggae band Kussondulola broght things back to a lusophone atmosphere with three reggae jams that remind me just a bit of the great Tiken Jah Fakoly, in content rather than language. Lastly, I shared with you my love for the song Haja o que Houver, by Madredeus.
Na Semana Passada no Lounge...
Passou no cinema um video de Sara Tavares e outro de Lura. Mais tarde, a Bïa passou por cá para cantar duas belas canções em estilo jazz/bossa nova, numa mistura sensual de francês e português. Depois veio a nigeriana Asa dar um pouco de sabor anglofônico aos procedimentos, com três músicas comoventes que fazem lembrar o génio de Bob Marley. A banda angolana de reggae Kussondulola pôs de novo o foco na lusofonia, com três grandes reggae beats que sabem um pouco a Tiken Jah Fakoly, em conteúdo, não lingua. E por último, partilhei convosco o amor que tenho pela música Haja o que Houver, pelos Madredeus.
