Dar e Receber, by Faradai feat. Gonçalo Clington

Dar e Receber is Helder Faradai's first single since signing for Kongoloti Records and features Angolan musician Gonçalo Clington. It has that polished, high quality production quality we've come to expect from Faradai and Jazzmática, but this one is a little sparser in its arrangements.

I'll let Helder explain his inspiration in his own words:
I was inspired by that show on Angolan FM stereo called...''Canta Angola'', where they played many sounds exulting our Angolan culture, in the musicality that is this country. This is a tribute to our elders, who took the Angolan music to another level, with distinction and success overseas, and to the younger generation gaining pace, showing that they too can do it and are willing to pursue the path and the heritage that is far from its end, for it´s emotion is found on the pursuit. To Liceu Vieira Dias, O cota Elias, Os irmãos Kafala Urbano de Castro, Os irmãos mingas, Teta Lando, Vum Vum Kamussadi, Carlos Lopes, Filipe Mukenga, Filipe Zau, David Zé and many others equally relevant.
