The last two posts on this website have dealt with the freshest Afro-house songs that I heard in Luanda during my time there. But no mention of Luanda's nascent house scene could be complete without a few words on Djeff and Silyvi, two very talented DJs who have been terrorizing Elinga Teatro and Luanda in general with their sumptuous Afro-house beats. Tambuleno is their most widely known recording, another one of those jams that you were guaranteed to hear if you spent your nights in Luanda away from home and under the reveled gaze of that quintessentially African moonlight. The song features vocals from Angolan music legend Mamukueno, a sick rhythm and an infectious international appeal. It was released by Nulu Records late last year and is available on Amazon.

Os últimos dois posts no Lounge lidam com músicas do estilo afro-house que ouvi enquanto em Luanda no fim do ano passado e no princípio do currente ano. Mas nenhuma menção de house music em Angola seria incompleta se não falassemos dos DJs Djeff e Silyvi, dois talentosos artistas que têm estado a aterrorizar as noites de quintas-feira no Elinga Teatro e não só com as suas composições deliciosas de afro-house. Tambuleno é um dos seus sons mais conhecidos, e é mais uma daquelas músicas que estás garantido a ouvir na noite luandense se não a passares em casa. O que torna este beat viciante ainda mais especial são os vocais do kota Mamukueno, lenda da música angolana. Tambuleno foi lançado pelo Nulu Records o ano passado e é possível comprá-lo pelo Amazon.
