This past Saturday, Caipirinha Lounge was mentioned on the Angolan weekly newspaper Semanário Angolense! The authors of the article in question did a report on Mauricio Pacheco's Com Fusões 1 and slid in the fact that I rated it the best lusophone album of 2009 (people actually read this?? :)). They even quote me and call me a "music critic". Haha, me, a music critic. They never mention the words Caipirinha Lounge and instead insist on calling the blog "Lusotones", frequently butchering the spelling of the word "lusotunes" in the process. But hey, it's the journalists we have! All I can do is say thank you and hope that this is the first of several. Long live the Lounge, long live the great music of Comfusões, and long live the Semanario for looking for quality music online!
